Chief Timothy Park is a division of Northwest Land Management located near Clarkston, Washington. The Park – which is located on an island in the Snake River just west of Clarkston – is a US Army Corps of Engineers property. Chief Tim offers camping sites – many with full hook ups – as well as some small sleeping cabins. Boating, swimming, and fishing are the main activities.
Chief Timothy is located on the historic Lewis and Clark Trail. This fact is celebrated with a sculpture landscape on the summit of the island designed by famed architect Maya Lin. It is not far from Hell’s Canyon on the Snake River and is close to the town of Lewiston, Idaho.
