About Us

CLM Services - is comprised of several companies dedicated
to the operation of outdoor recreation facilities and related
hospitality services. The services provided include: visitor
services, interpretation, security, janitorial and landscape
maintenance, campground management, retail sales, hospitality
services, and resource management. CLM Services also offers
a variety of consulting services in these same areas of expertise.

Founder and President
Eric R. Mart
Mr.
Mart founded the California Land Management Services
Corporation, in 1981. He currently serves as its President. CLM
Services operates commercial recreation businesses on eight
National Forests as well as for a variety of other Federal,
State, and local government agencies and private interests.
Mr. Mart currently serves on the Board of Directors of the
National Forest Recreation Association (NFRA). He was President
of NFRA from 1994 through 2000. Mr. Mart has also served on
the Board of Directors of the American Recreation Coalition
and the California Parks Hospitality Association and remains
actively involved in the California Tourism Industry Association.
He is a charter member of the California Roundtable on Recreation
and Tourism. In June of 2002, Mr. Mart was appointed to the
Lake Tahoe Federal Advisory Committee by Secretary of Agriculture,
Ann Veneman, where he still serves.
Mr. Mart holds a B.A. degree from the University of
California at Berkeley and a Masters in Public
Administration from California State University, Hayward.

Janice Nakaya Mart
A long time partner in the business, Ms. Mart
recently assumed a majority ownership interest
in CLM Services. She currently
serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors,
Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Executive
Officer.
Ms. Mart has been involved with CLM
Services since the
company's founding. Her primary duties were
originally in the areas of accounting,
personnel, payroll, and general administration.
Recently, she has assumed a leadership role in
the long term strategic planning of the business
and has taken on oversight of the company’s day
to day operations. |

BS degree from the University of Utah. She and
her husband Eric have three children. |
